World Book Day 2015

Published author, Dave Foster, visited The Grange this World Book Day to lead a workshop for students on how to start writing and have fun creating characters and settings for imaginative stories. Students from across the Primary and Secondary phase engaged in a whole host of activities throughout the day with quizzes, writing challenges, fancy dress and many more. Through our accelerated reading programme we look to encourage a love for reading in students from an early age which is nurtured and grows as they progress through the school.

The Learning Resource Centre is filled throughout the day with students who are excited to read, explore and experience all that books can offer. With a number of Year 7 students having already read over 1,000,000 words this academic year, there is no doubt that our love of books at The Grange lives on.
