During KS3 students are taught Computer Science once a week. Throughout each year students will be provided with the opportunity to cover a wide variety of topics including Microsoft Office, E Safety, Web Design and two different Programming Languages. For each topic students will be set a project to work on which will allow them to develop a range of key skills in that areas. Assessments are completed at the end of each of the projects with time being allocated to improve and review any misconceptions so that students move throughout the key stage confident in their new found skills. After school students have the opportunity to use the resources available within the faculty to complete homework, extend learning or attend one of the enrichment clubs that the faculty will be hosting.
